Edward "Eddie" Jene Tackett, Sr., 73 of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. He was born on April 1, 1946 in Martin, Kentucky to Everett Tackett and Emogene Frazier Tackett. Eddie moved to Cape Coral in 1960, residing in North Fort Myers for the past 20 years. Eddie enjoyed; collecting cars and motorcycles, watching NASCAR, football and especially loved his Kentucky Wildcats Basketball. He is survived by his family including his mother, Emogene Tackett of Cape Coral; sister, Judith Martindale of Cape Coral; wife, Dori; sons, Sean (Tiffany) Tackett of Cape Coral, Ed Tackett, Jr; four grandchildren, Kelly Tackett, Sean Tackett Jr., Jacob Cox, Shannon Tackett. He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Tackett in 1996; sister, Sandra Lois Tackett in 1966; daughter, Sandra Lois Tackett in 2018. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30pm on Saturday, November 23, 2019 with visitation starting at 1:30pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral. Burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
