Earl D. Ousley

Earl D. Ousley, age 87, of Prestonsburg, KY, husband of Nancy Haywood Ousley, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born October 5, 1932 in Prestonsburg, a son of the late Hargis and Alice Shepherd Ousley. Earl was US Army Korean War Veteran, a retired School Teacher and Administrator in the Floyd County School System, a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and the VFW.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Douglas Ousley, his wife Jennifer, Randall Ousley, his wife Jenny, all of Prestonsburg, two daughters; Linda Marlene Ousley, Prestonsburg, Teresa Elizabeth (John) Martin, Versailles, KY, eight grandchildren; Dara Riley, Jason Ousley, Angela Hunt, Leland Ousley, Ashlyn Martin, Keaton Martin, Lucas Ousley, Garret Ousley, and two great grandchildren; Emilyn Riley and Harper Riley.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Ousley.

Funeral service for Earl D. Ousley will be conducted Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Rev. Chuck Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, visitation is after 6 PM Monday and all day Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
