Doris Jean (Tackett) Little

Doris Jean Little, age 76, of Hi Hat, KY, widow of Bernard Little, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 in UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center, Lexington, KY. She was born March 23, 1943 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Arthur and Beulah Mattingly Tackett. She was a mother, homemaker and a member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son: Ricky Stewart, Hi Hat, KY,  two daughters; Leah (Jeffrey) Mudge, McDowell, KY and Rachel Little, Hi Hat, KY, two sisters; Patty Lawson, Sitka, KY, Libby Thompson, Jenkins, KY, 5 grandchildren; Stacia and Justin Mudge, Casey, Kendall and Maddie Stewart and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Kendall Stewart, two brothers; Arthur Tackett, Jr and Eddie (Tackett) Akers and one sister; Sharon Perkins.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 12 at 1:00 pm in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is Thursday after 6 PM and all day Friday with church service each evening at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
