David N. "Sweetwater" Clifton

David N. "Sweetwater" Clifton, age 71 of, Prestonsburg, KY, husband of Della Ann Delong Clifton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at his residence.  He was born January 7, 1948 in Prestonsburg, a son of the late Dave and Hazel Price Clifton.  He was the owner of Fuel Transport of Prestonsburg, KY.

In addition to his wife; Della Ann, he is survived by two sons; David O. Clifton and John Devin Clifton, both of Prestonsburg, one daughter, Dana S. Clifton, Prestonsburg, two brothers; Michael Clifton, Johnson County, KY and Joseph Clifton, Jacksonville, FL, two sisters; Naomi Doss, Alton, KY and Linda Casey, Versailles, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Ed Clifton and three sisters, Judy Reinhart, Barbara Clifton and Vera Clifton.

Memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Carpenter officiating. Visitation is from 12 noon until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
