Claude "Brownie" Crum

Claude "Brownie" Crum, age 94, of Hi Hat, KY, husband of Mary Alice Evans Crum, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born May 10, 1924 in Kermit, WV, a son of the late Lafie and Dixie Crum.  He was a retired brick layer.

In addition to his wife; Mary Alice, he is survived by one son; Claude "Lafie" (Kristi) Crum, Pippa Passes, KY, one daughter; Joyce Frazier, Cincinnati, OH, two step sons; Howard (Delores) Jude Jr., Columbus, OH, Danny (Sherrie) Jude, Inez, KY, one step daughter; Phyllis Pack, Louisa, KY, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter; Geraldine Furman, one step son; Ricky Jude, one step daughter; Barbara Shirley and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Shannon officiating.  Burial will follow in the Little Cemetery, Price, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
