Cassie J. (Patrick) Allen

Cassie J. Patrick Allen, age 95, of East Point, KY died Monday, January 29, 2018 in the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was born October 13, 1922 in Bradley (Magoffin Co.) KY, a daughter of the late Kern and Willie Bailey Patrick.  Cassie was a former US Marine, member of the Floyd Co. Red Cross, a retired Attorney and was of the Methodist Faith.

    Survivors include one son, David Patrick Allen, East Point, KY, one daughter; Patricia Huffman (Robert A.) Mayton, Pikeville, KY, four grandchildren; David Patrick Allen II, Dr. Catherine Huffman (Dr. Chase) Reynolds, Dr. Emily Huffman (Dr. Patrick) Ratliff, and Whittney Allen.

    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edgar, Norvell and infant, Hager Patrick, and six sisters; Alta Patton, Virgie Herrity, Lucy McHone, Edith Smith, Verglinda Stephens and infant, Julia Patrick.

     Funeral service for Cassie J. Patrick Allen will be conducted Thursday, February 1 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Charles Gearheart officiating. Burial will follow in the Huston Patrick Cemetery, Burning Fork of Salyersville, KY, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
