Carolyn Sue Prater

Carolyn Sue Prater, age 64, of Hueysville, KY, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born November 8, 1955 in Lackey, KY, the daughter of Clara Sparkman Prater of Hueysville, KY and the late Nelson Prater. She was a secretary for P&H Packing Company and Cheyenne Drilling Company and a member of the Salt Lick Community Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Malinda (Ryan Shepherd) Joseph, Hueysville, KY, two brothers; Dwight Prater and Dave (Clova) Prater, two grandchildren; Maddy Henson and Jonathan Blake Henson.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 12, 2019 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm with Dolvin Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Nelson Prater Family Cemetery, Hueysville, KY. Visitation is 6-10 PM Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
