Carl C. Hall

Carl C. Hall, age 78, of Betsy Layne, KY, husband of Dottie Sue Hall, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.  He was born October 15, 1939 in Floyd County, KY, a son of the late William Tack and Elizabeth Case Hall.  He was a member of the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and a retired Welder.

In addition to his wife Dottie Sue, he is survived by four sons; Kenneth (Gennell) Hall, James (Shelia) Hall, Randy (Sherry) Hall and Barry Hall, two daughters; Kathy (Gary) Bentley and Connie (Darrell) Castle, three brothers; RB Hall, Earl Hall and Kadous Hall, ten grandchildren; Jessica (Scott) Wallace, Piper Hall, Danielle (Tyler) White, Cody Hall, Hannah Hall, Trevor Hall, Barrett Hall, Chasity Bentley, Dakota Reed and Alex Reed, five great grandchildren; Beckham Wallace, Conor Bentley, Jaxon Castle, Layla Castle and Tayten White.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Vardie Hall, Curt Hall, Billy Hall and Walker Hall, three sisters; Alice Boyd, Zina Collins and Margie Hunter and one granddaughter; Brita Hall.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Betsy Layne Freewill Baptist Church, with Barry Clark, Tracy Patton and Tim McCoy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery, Honaker, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
