Billie Jean (Goble) Jewell

Billie Jean Jewell, age 85, of Dwale, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Riverview Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born June 20, 1934 in Floyd County, a daughter of the late William and Alice Calhoun Goble.  She was a member of the Cow Creek Freewill Baptist Church, a former caregiver and factory worker.

She is survived by two daughters; Brenda Jewell, Paintsville, KY and Lisa (Wayne) Blanton, Dwale, KY, six grandchildren; Chris Jewell, Jeremy Jewell, Eric Blanton, Steve Martin, James Martin and Alice Martin, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son; Terry Jewell, six brothers; Claude, Charlie, Fred, Ershel, Ed, and Oakie Goble, four sisters; Irene Enix, Mary Bare, Ann Wallace and Josephine Osborne.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 17, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Nathan Lafferty officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
