Bill Parsons, age 84, of Allen, KY, husband of Judith Elder Parsons, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1934 in Allen, KY a son of the late Frank and Allie Smith Parsons. He retired as Water Commissioner for the City of Allen, was a Kentucky Colonel, served the City of Allen as Clerk for many years and as Clerk of Allen was responsible for getting water and sewer to the city of Allen.
In addition to his wife; Judith he is survived by his daughter; Debora (Billy, Jr) Curnutte, Auxier, KY, one brother; George Parsons; Frankfort, KY, two sisters; Janice Routludge, Frankfort, KY and Nellie Meade, Prestonsburg, KY, two grandchildren; Bradley (Tabitha) Curnutte and Jennifer (Robert) White, two great grandchildren; Nathaniel and Dylan Curnutte.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife; Eunice Blevins Parsons, one brother; Russell Parsons and one sister; Maggie Branham.
Funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha's Catholic Church, Prestonsburg, KY, with Father Brandon Bigam officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday and all day Monday at the funeral home under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
