Annabelle (Elswick) Reid

          Annabelle Elswick Reid, age 88, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Charles C. Reid, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Riverview Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born January 15, 1929 in Price, KY a daughter of the late Jim Bob and Cora Estep Elswick.  She was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired administrative secretary. 

          She is survived by two sons; Jason (Carrie) Reid, Prestonsburg, KY and Stanley (Lisa) Reid, Lexington, KY, one daughter; Deane Reid, Allen, KY, one brother; Hershell Elswick, Dearborn, MI, two sisters; Jewel Turner, Cincinnati, OH and Velma, 13 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. 

          In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three sons; Charles C. "Speedy" Reid, Jr., Kenny Reid and Birchel Reid, six brothers; Elmer, Delmer, J.B., Clayton, Larry and Birchel Elswick and two sisters; Jeanette Martin and Beulah Hall.

          Funeral service will be conducted Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
