Andy J. Dye

Andy J. Dye Sr., age 75 of Printer, KY, widower of Cheryl J. Wright Dye, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1942 in Hi Hat, KY a son of the late Elder Woodrow and Monnie Brown Dye. He was retired from the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by two sons: Andy J. Dye II (Lisa), Decatur, AL, Martin Woodrow Dye (Susan), Richmond, KY; one daughter: Zoey Brooke Garner (Burke), Prestonsburg, KY; three brothers: Milton Dye (Betty), Columbus, OH, Litten Jimmy Dye (Thelma), Price, KY, Ricky Dye (Gaye), Winchester, KY; three sisters: Freda Goines (Jim-(D)), Gleda Johnson (Donald), Lucy Reynolds (Bryan) all of Printer, KY. six grandchildren: Kayla Osborne, Sarah E. Dye, Jackson S. Dye, Alexandra C. Dye, Marty M. Dye and Summer Cheryl Dye.

In addition to his wife and parents, Andy was preceded in death by: one brother: Tilton Dye; two sisters: Nancy and JoAnn Dye.

Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers Officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Cemetery, Price, KY and visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
