Alma (Conley) Burruss

Alma Conley Burruss, age 95, of  Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Archie Eli Burruss, died Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born November 12,1922 in Garrett, KY a daughter of the late Watt and Grace Mosley Conley. She was a homemaker.

   Alma is survived by four sons, Archie Burruss, Jr. and Gary "Randy" Burruss, both of Prestonsburg, KY, Steve (Rita) Conley, Claypool, IN, David Allen (Marrea) Burruss, Lexington, KY; one step-daughter, Barbara Malone, TX, two brothers; Glen Conley, OH and Elmer Gordon Conley, Toledo, OH, one sister; Glenda "Bonnie" Petrovich, Mascoutah, IL, and two grandchildren; Steve and Judy Conley.

  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Arvil and Hauley Conley, and three sisters; Ann Sparks, Sylvia Cooley and Flossie Hunt.

  Funeral service for Alma Conley Burruss will be conducted Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery, Prestonsburg, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
