Alan Lawson Obituary

Alan Dale Lawson, age 66, of Minnie, KY, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Highlands Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY. He was born December 29, 1952 in Martin, a son of the late Willie D. and Elsie McCowan Lawson. He was a US Navy Veteran and a retired banker.

He is survived by three brothers; Teddy Dean (Carol) Lawson, Nancy, KY, Eddie D. (Sandi) Lawson, Dana, KY and John D. (Charlotte) Lawson, Dobson, NC, two sisters; Billie M. (Willis) Newsome, Ivel, KY and Janet Leigh Lawson, Minnie, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Lonnie D. and Thomas D. Lawson and one sister; Nola Karen Lawson.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at a later date.
